Hands-on Fall Protection training is conducted at your site. Courses range from Basic Fall Protection Awareness to Train the Trainer courses taught by knowledgeable and experienced trainers. Training is also available in Spanish.

Our fall protection training is enhanced using multimedia
presentations, state of the art fall protection equipment
and plenty of opportunities for students to participate
in the sessions.
Before any training is conducted our fall protection trainer
will contact you to get specific information on the fall
protection needs of your company. The class will than
be geared to cover the general areas of fall protection
as well as your specific application need.
There are several types of Fall Protection training courses
we offer based on Your need and application here is a

Basic Fall Protection:
The Fall Protection Basics course provides the
student with a general overview of OSHA regulations,
fall protection systems and industry standards.
Ideal for persons who are going to be using fall
protection systems and for safety managers to
gain a general understanding.
Using multimedia presentation and fall protection
equipment the students are taught how to identify,
inspect and properly use fall protection equipment
such as full body harness, lanyards, self retracting
lifelines, carabineers, anchors, horizontal lifelines
and ladder fall protection systems.
Fall Protection certificate awarded for all attendees.

- Competent Person Class: This course
is designed to provide Fall Protection knowledge
and skills to those persons who have managerial
and supervisory responsibilities involving tasks
with exposures to height hazards and confined
space fall hazards. OSHA requires an employer
to appoint a Competent Person to supervise the
work involving fall hazards. This course will
allow employers to responsibly delegate those
duties.

Fall Protection" class plus in-depth discussion
on different types of Fall Protection Systems
such as Fall Prevention, Fall Arrest and Fall

- Competent Fall Protection Equipment Inspector
Course: OSHA requires that fall protection
equipment be periodically inspected by a competent
person. This course is designed to provide the
knowledge and skills required to do a qualified
inspection of fall protection equipment and
systems. It covers the proper usage of equipment
to make sure that equipment is used for its
intended function and does deteriorate needlessly.

- Qualified Person Class: This in-depth
course covers the five basic methods of Fall
Protection. The engineering exercises will include
calculation of clearances, energy dissipation,
anchorage strengths, swing falls, and performance
of horizontal lifeline systems.

Fall Protection" class plus in depth discussion
on different types of Fall Protection Systems
such as Fall Prevention, Fall Arrest and Fall

- Train the Trainer: The trainer component
of the Fall Protection Train the Trainer course
is designed to develop a necessary skill base
for trainer candidates to facilitate a five-hour
Awareness Seminar. Trainers are given practical
exercises specific to the teaching of this subject
matter. In addition, participants will co-instruct
portions of the five-hour awareness seminar
under the supervision of a CAI instructor.

Training for Fall Protection is an indispensable part
any fall protection system. Since no fall protection system,
regardless of how effective it is, can save an employee
who is not trained in its proper usage. CAI Safety Fall
Protection training provides a pro-active, hands-on approach
that empowers the worker to recognize and deal effectively
with fall hazards in the workplace. We train to change
attitudes and behavior, which will eventually reflect
safe work habits in all areas of the workplace.
