Roof Anchor System for OSHA Fall Protection

CAI specializes in custom engineered Roof Fall Protection Systems. Our OSHA compliant Roof Anchor system can be used on a variety of roofs for the purpose of providing fall restraint and arrest around roof leading edges and openings.

Fall Protection Challenge: Employees need to access rooftops to perform various tasks such as maintenance, construction, inspection and repairs. These tasks are sometimes performed in adverse weather conditions such as high wind, snow and rain making a Fall Protection system absolutely essential.

Fall Protection Solution: Our engineers will design an OSHA compliant Fall Protection system that is compatible with your use as well as your existing building roof structure. We can provide permanent, temporary and mobile roof fall protection anchors that can be used as fall arrest and fall restraint anchors. Our anchors are also ANSI Z359.1 compliant.

Mobile Non-Penetrating Anchor for Roof Leading Edges and Openings

The freestanding counterweight anchor provides a tie-off point for personnel performing work on flat roofs or structures. The anchor is fall arrest rated and can be used as a single anchor point system.

• Non penetrating design does not attach to working surface, reducing the possibility of damage.

• Fall arrest and restraint rated for one worker for jobsite versatility.

• Approved for use on these roof types: concrete, single ply membrane, bitumen membrane, asphalt sanded and asphalt stone chippings.

• Ideal for use on flat surfaces up to a maximum of 5 degrees slope/pitch

• Counterweights are 45 lbs (20.3 kg) and come with an integral carrying handle for easy transport and set up.

Roof Leading Edge Fall Protection Anchor:
The Perimeter Limiter leading edge anchor is ideal for concrete decking construction by providing overhead anchorages for up to 2 users.

• Freestanding, non-penetrating design allows the anchor to be ready to use once placed on the decking structure
  
• Overhead anchorages for two users reduce the fall distances imposed on the users while minimizing swing falls
• Large foam filled trailer tires allow the Perimeter Limiter to be very maneuverable around the decking application, plus they will never go flat!
• The mast and anchorage arm can rotate around the weighted base giving you ultimate freedom of movement.
• Accessory holes on the vertical and main horizontal arms for addition of rescue winches or jobsite boxes.
• Additional weight and taller mast can be added to make the unit extend from 7.5 ft to 9.5 ft in height.

The Roof Top Anchor for Metal/Wood Sheathing’s design makes the anchor very versatile in terms of what it can be attached to on the jobsite. This anchor can be mounted to all with minimal amount of fasteners compare to the competition.

• Compatible with 24 gauge metal corrugated roofs or thicker
• 5/8” CDX plywood or thicker mounting option available

Membrane & Built-Up Roof Fall Protection Anchor:
Installation is fast and easy by core drilling down through the insulation to the metal or wood sheathing and fastening toggle bolts from the top of the roof. Once installed the base is simply covered with the same material used for the membrane or built-up roof and weather sealed together to ensure integrity.

• Compatible with single ply membrane and built-up type roof structures
• Zinc plated base plate helps facilitate a true waterproof seal for membrane type roofs.
